Just looking at the recipe, my guess is that it is a typo and should be 4 teaspoons--not 4 tablespoons.

The only problem I see is the canned coconut milk, guar gum personally causes me digestive issues. You could make homemade coco milk to make it even better. Using grassfed cream would definitely be the best option if you tolerate it but I think... (more)

Coconut milk ice cream is actually quite flavorful and creamy on its own, without added sugars. I put an entire can of full-fat in there, and the machine does the rest. :)
