Proper fat: grass fed animal fat, pastured butter, coconut oil, some fruit oils like olive and avocado (not sure about Ray Peat's opinion, I agree he is an outlier of the group).

No, you don't really need to worry about recovery at that level of exercise. It's more therapeutic than anything.
