I have seen research regarding ketosis being helpful in regards to those with diabetes, mental disorders, epilepsy, etc., but what research is there that shows benefits among healthy adults? Particularly interested in metabolic benefits of ketosis. (more)

Ultimately, it's all individual. But if you had but one broad brush to paint with, I think 75-150 grams of carbs daily gets the most coverage, certainly closer than the 300+ grams of carbohydrate that conventional wisdom prescribes.

My mom cured an autoimmune eye disease using a ray peat style protocol, she literally cured herself overnight by just eating some basic pro-thyroid foods and removing the anti-thyroid foods. She also uses progesterone and vit A(I think).

I think it's great to eat some fat with carbs. Fat helps slow digestion down which is generally a good thing for both satiation and blood glucose levels. And it's tasty!
