As far as I understand, krill oil is the best type of sea oil. However I'm at a loss to which one to take, and how much is it? Thanks! (WAS NOT ADVERTISING, GEEZE LOL) I thought it was the best type? If not, enlighten me.

"Krill oil is da bomb!" - Krill oil salesmen. Buyer beware. Not saying it's bad, but is it that much better than fish oil? Doubtful.

Many have said supplement with Cod Liver Oil. Some have said use just fish oil as CLO contains too much Vit A. Some have said use Krill Oil as it is better than either CLO or Fish Oil. When I look at Krill Oil labels, the EPA plus DHA adds up to... (more)

@ David Moss "Krill oil doesn't have any significant extra benefits over fish oil to my knowledge and is normally more expensive, so unless you can find a better-priced version than fish oil, I'd not bother." Don't agree with you on that one;... (more)

Hi guys Just curious for those of you that supplement with Krill oil, do you guys look for Astaxanthin content as well? Most seem to only look at the omega 3's. I personally do look for astaxanthin, for its many noted health benefits, I found... (more)

Just curious, I ordered some Krill Oil for the first time and didn't look for astaxhanthin, I was after the omega-3 as you well noticed. I've just re-checked and seen that it has 750 mcg of astaxhanthin, it's the Neptune Krill Oil from Now Foods.... (more)

I keep reading about the great benefits of krill oil, in particular their great omega-3 profile. I'm curious to know if I can find actual krill, before it's been squeezed into oil, here in the U.S.

My question, of which I am still trying to determine the sanity: If the majority of the fat around my middle is heavily made of omega6 due to prior eating habits, will a bit more omega3 supplementation help me healthily get it off of me? This... (more)

I tend to favor Dr. Harris over Robb Wolf in this debate. Never in our evolution did we eat fish oil pills, until recently. Fish oil is still PUFA, which should be minimized. Fish oil can easily go rancid and end up causing more problems than it... (more)

Jarrow Formula's. This is what Dave at bulletproof exec recommends, and I can honestly say it is one of the first fish oil's I've taken that has had a noticeable effect.
