Simple question, what's the cheapest way for me to test for familial hypercholesterolemia? My doctor said he couldn't test for it.

If anything it will be sightly elevated, your body starts to access its own glucose stores and blood sugar levels rise. Smart body.

I have had tests done through them. I didn't have any problems. Results were pretty quick. Plus they save them for you, so even now years later, I can log in to my account and check all my past results pretty easily.

The only thing that jumps out at me is that total cholesterol is probably too low. Has he ever had another panel to compare to?

go to omegaquant or nutrasource diagnostics. they do at home tests, are fast, validated and offer a good value. metametrix was fast and offer an at home test but results are way off. Try a couple out and check out the various results. Look... (more)

I did the full range prepaleo, going back soon to retest. Will post results in before/after. Also see guinea pig thread, I'm trying to get sponsored(someone to pay for testing) to do various food combination/ whole food testing.
