If you're more defined after eating, especially if it's carbs, it's probably the carbs replenishing muscle glycogen. Water retention also plays a role of course.

I agree that anything should work. I am interested in the 90/10 piece though. If I'm lucky/work hard enough to lose 50 lbs, I'd much rather it be a 45/5 split than a 38/12 split. Does starting at a higher bf% make this not worth considering? ... (more)

The overall conclusion I'm reaching is that if you're not overeating, and everything you're eating is balanced and efficient then your body will just put it where it needs to go. I could be wrong of course. Lol, no help I guess.
