As long as they are miscible (fancy chemist word for mixable), it should work as you describe. Any oil will do it too. Don't bother with MCT oil, try olive oil.

I disagree with MrsD about taste. (Just my humble opinion.) I prefer San-J gluten-free tamari and don't mind eating organic fermented soy, BUT.... I MUCH prefer coconut aminos over Braggs. I think Braggs tastes like garbage and adds a weird taste... (more)

Heating raw butter inactivates the Wulzen factor (aka anti-stiffness factor), so if you have any joint issues or concerns, I'd eat it raw vs cook with it.
