It can. However, I've found that with myself, and others, that when digestion is already good and bowel movements are frequent and regular, Magnesium has little to no effect as long as you are adequately hydrated. My advice would be to try using... (more)

Could be the raffinose in the sweet potatoes (the same sugar found in beans that causes flatulence). Definitely give white potatoes a try - I believe they have far less raffinose (if any).

Perfectly normal. No worries. On low carb you feed your gut bacteria less and hence produce less waste.
