If you're eating VLC for fat-loss, I'm not sure loss of appetite is a problem unless you're already at your goal-weight. Ketosis can cause nausea until you get used to it, and it can take more than three weeks to become fully adapted. Eating in... (more)

I'm not an expert, but perhaps you're eating a bit too much protein? I'd make sure most of your plate is filled with veggies and just one serving (palm size) of protein.

It's 3 pounds. THREE pounds! It could be water. Obsessing over three pounds is not good for you, nor is it conducive to healthy eating. Maybe your scale is three pounds off. And you wouldn't gain that over night.

The average weight loss is a useless number in this situation since everyone is different. You should expect your weight to eventually get to your optimal weight, and stay there provided you stay paleo. The number isn't really important.

Wild salmon, mackerel and sardines are all on my menu. Not to mention an array of shellfish. I love lobster, scallops, crab, prawns (shrimp) etc I live on a small island, so we get better access than a lot of places to seafood.
