There's anecdotal evidence (low carb forums) that adding carbohydrate can accelerate fat-loss or break a stall. No clinical evidence, though.

Wouldn't hurt to dial back the workouts a little bit, take vitamins, and make sure you don't have fat malabsorption. It very well could be the medication. make sure you consult your physician about your concern with that.

How many carbs are you currently getting in? From what sources? You could add .25 lbs of sweet potato which is around 22 grams of carbs. Are you working out? If so you should get in 30-50 grams of carbs post workout if you are doing glycotic... (more)

carb up with rice at night and you will be fine, low glycogen does not imply muscle loss so dont worry about that as long as you eat adequate amounts of animal protein!
