Indeed, fish oil supplements are already oxidizing through shipment, storage, and sale before they reach you. Should you not take them for that reason? Maybe, that's up to you. But I will say this: it's a lot less worrisome to just eat fish. (more)

I wouldn't consider 1.25 grams of protein/ lb a high protein diet. If you're looking to gain weight you're probably going to have to introduce more than 40-80 grams of carbs/day though.
