thanks for answering Myth, I totally agree with you that no supplement is worth my sleep. I have also been researching the raw vs cooked maca and I think I will definitelly switch to the gelatinized and probably cook up the rest of this raw powder... (more)

Maca comes from a root, and I would guess you're taking it in a supplement fashion? Just from what I know about supplements, it is important to try and get full nourishment from whole foods. Better carbs might include sweet potatoes/yams,... (more)

Powdered maca, gelatinized or not, absolutely wrecks my guts. Gassy, grainy baby-poop diarrhea. And it gives me a putrid BO, for some reason. Man, that is one thing I do not put into my body.
