Feel free to skip the rant and answer this: is it possible that not incorporating red meat in my meals is the reason I don't feel satiated? I think I'm not slacking off on my protein intake, but I'm a bit of a noob so any ideas are welcome.... (more)

Adequate intake of protein and (arguably) fat is known to be what puts the brakes on appetite. This is not restricted purely to animal protein only, and poultry, fish, plant proteins will all have a similiar effect if in sufficient amounts. ... (more)

there are so many bloggers and cookbooks out there, I just google "paleo *insert dish here* recipe" and i get something for it. there's a recipe for pretty much anything you could possibly think of by now, it's amazing. or pick up a cookbook...... (more)

My suggestion is to try tracking your caloric intake for a little while to get a handle on things. You will need a kitchen scale, a measuring cup, and some measuring spoons, as well as a tracking system - I find that fitday.com is pretty easy to... (more)
