Hello, I'm registered on my work computer but it won't let me register or sign in at home. Every time I try it says my email address is already in use. Any help would be appreciated. Also, I'd like to be able to email site admins privately... (more)
I get the message at the top that says "Please fill out our 2013 survey!". The up arrow is covering the "You've earned the Popular Quesiton badge". I'd like to close that notification but there's a down arrow covering the X. Any ideas what to do... (more)
I posted on Facebook, It's a rarer concept than I thought: my godfather spoke quite lucidly about "pseudomorphosis," or George Florovsky's concept of Orthodoxy assuming a false form. But, if web searches are any indication, the term is not as... (more)
I've recently noticed that some words in people's responses link to advertisements. The links are added automatically by VigLink. Is this new or have I just not noticed it before? It's a little annoying because you have to hold your mouse over... (more)

I think it's time we used QuickMeme to make some paleo memes. More funny if you know the meme as well. Memes used include Good Guy Greg, Success Kid, Bad Luck Brian, Futurama Fry, First World Problems, The Most Interesting Man In the World, Fight... (more)
Everytime I come to this site, I want to leave within 30 seconds, because I get the stupid pop up ad to sign up for paleo hack spam. Somehow it defeats my no pop up ads browser setting and ad blocker add-in. Can someone who runs this site turn... (more)
I searched the tags, but didn't find a thread that specifically addresses editing posts and comments, or the etiquette surrounding that. I've been able to edit posts for a while, but have never done so. However, with this morning's rash of... (more)
Generally I think editing is best when done with a light hand. I most commonly edit questions to add or fix tags, and to correct grammar mistakes and misuse of punctuation (like apostrophe's....er, I mean apostrophes.)--as long as doing so... (more)

Should we establish some community guidelines for discouraging repeat spammers and/or trolls? For example, it seems to me that downvotes or comments, while useful in the community as a whole, only serve to encourage them. What are your thoughts,... (more)
I just flag them. I don't waste the downvote, and no longer dignify them with comments (though it's so tempting, I admit). I think having to be a registered user to post questions (though not to comment) could also be useful in deterring them.... (more)
I agree there is value in anonymous voting. However, would it be possible to add the ability to include an anonymous comment along with the anonymous downvote? That would allow someone to explain the downvote without losing... (more)
A lot of comments seem to be perfectly good answers, so why not create an answer? Is it to be the first read response? Is it that you don't think your opinion is good enough to be judged as an answer? Do you not seek the sweet sweet thrill of... (more)

I saw this thread: http://paleohacks.com/questions/25957/data-mining-paleohacks which is focused on gathering additional data to analyze, but what about all the data we already have? Some reports that could be (at least mildly)... (more)
Is it just me or are there now ads in the middle of the page? The ads at the top and sides of the page, I can handle; but now it's just obnoxious having it smack dab in the middle of the thread. (more)

Are we getting our money's worth out of Paleo Hacks or is it just a way to pass time? What's the most useful or interesting answer/thought/insight you've gotten from Paleo Hacks?
I love this site. I think I'm addicted to it. This is only the second question I've posted mostly because 1) I can usually find the answer to my question because it has already been asked before, 2) I like reading the answers to questions that I... (more)
Theres a new Q&A website for people that follow Ray peat and it has private messaging and polls and I think some other things (http://peatarian.com). Is it possible to have those kind of things on here too?
Why do some questions appear a lighter colour on main page than others? I have noticed this a few times lately, but cant see a reason for it. (more)
Hey guys, First things first I know this isn't a paleo question but I come to this site 20 times a day and the pop up asking me for sign up keeps appearing even though I've already signed up. Is there anything I can do to stop it Thanks heaps

I'm fairly new to PH, so I can't claim to understand everything that goes on, but I'm curious about the criteria used to determine what constitutes a valid question. In the past ten days or so, for example, there have been three questions asked... (more)
I'm asking in the context of keeping trolls out. I notice trolls tend to have low reputation scores (sometimes 1). Trolls are time wasters, and the burden to actually do a little work before they post a useless or provocative question would make... (more)
