Should questions that are asked in/placed in the 'Meta space', be visible under the 'All Questions' space (Default space) as well? That way, the 'All Questions' page does indeed show all questions. This was how it was working... (more)
I cannot log in because I need a three letter username before I can enter a new password. The form will not allow me to modify my username so that it has three letters. I no longer see where the "email the moderators" section is.
So, just use the full name instead of the abbreviation: CrossDresser.
(i love change, keeps me on my toes). Just thought some kind of post-PH-site-upgrade thread may be warranted to alert the admins of bugs & make requests for possible adjustments etc... Here's my one, Under the All... (more)
When I logged into the new site, it didn't recognize my password, so I clicked the reset link. It then appeared to create a temporary userid (Mike 37) instead of caveman_mike . Oddly, my question history was there, but my reputation went... (more)
Mine has come back too, still a little low but 95% restored, thanks.
I can understand the character limit on a comment, it is not a full blown answer. However it seems the formatting options for a comment are greatly limited compared to that of an answer. Notably, the option for basic HTML seems to not be there. Is... (more)
I'm sure that some of the people who post negative things here are sincerely thinking they're doing some good, or at least getting their point heard, even though there's tons of better way of doing it. But I wonder if some of these trolls are... (more)
These questions seem to pop up with a disturbingly high frequency on this website. It almost seems as though paleohacks is operating in conjunction to a binge eaters anonymous type deal. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't have any sort of... (more)
Do paleos troll on vegan/vegetarian boards? If yes, can anyone post some links? I'm mostly curious if "our" trolls are more clever than "their" trolls. :) UPDATE: I've spent some time reading vegan/vegetarian boards trying to answer my own... (more)
It's tempting, oh so tempting Mike, especially with half the egotistical BS that comes out of the mouth of DurianRider... but I have better things to do with my time. Oh wait... I watched his videos... DOH!
I think it's time we used QuickMeme to make some paleo memes. More funny if you know the meme as well. Memes used include Good Guy Greg, Success Kid, Bad Luck Brian, Futurama Fry, First World Problems, The Most Interesting Man In the World, Fight... (more)
Everytime I come to this site, I want to leave within 30 seconds, because I get the stupid pop up ad to sign up for paleo hack spam. Somehow it defeats my no pop up ads browser setting and ad blocker add-in. Can someone who runs this site turn... (more)
I searched the tags, but didn't find a thread that specifically addresses editing posts and comments, or the etiquette surrounding that. I've been able to edit posts for a while, but have never done so. However, with this morning's rash of... (more)
Generally I think editing is best when done with a light hand. I most commonly edit questions to add or fix tags, and to correct grammar mistakes and misuse of punctuation (like apostrophe's....er, I mean apostrophes.)--as long as doing so... (more)
Probably some Vegan.... lol
A lot of comments seem to be perfectly good answers, so why not create an answer? Is it to be the first read response? Is it that you don't think your opinion is good enough to be judged as an answer? Do you not seek the sweet sweet thrill of... (more)
Hard to provide a definitive answer to "Why does my poop look bad?"
I saw this post: http://paleohacks.com/questions/25957/data-mining-paleohacks which is focused on collecting additional statistical data to aggregate. But, what about all the data we already have? Some (at least mildly) interesting... (more)
Have you ever run into someone on Paleo Hacks who you know in real life? I.e., you recognized their name or picture and after reading some of their profile and/or some of their posts, you realized it was someone you knew in real life, but hadn't... (more)
The Rules of post-recognition Paleo Hackers meet-n-greet: 1st RULE: You do not talk about diet. 2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about DIET. 3rd RULE: If someone says "hey my body fat is 7% and I have 11 abs" and then flexes or you think they are... (more)
Every now and then I notice a gravatar associated with someone's answer but no reputation score underneath. I thought this was because the person was no longer a member of PH. But, I can click on their username and see their rep score in their... (more)
That's when you click community wiki when you answer I think.
I love this site. I think I'm addicted to it. This is only the second question I've posted mostly because 1) I can usually find the answer to my question because it has already been asked before, 2) I like reading the answers to questions that I... (more)
I'm fairly new to PH, so I can't claim to understand everything that goes on, but I'm curious about the criteria used to determine what constitutes a valid question. In the past ten days or so, for example, there have been three questions asked... (more)
Does the paleohacks software have a feature to support polls? I see people ask alot of questions that seem like a poll would be very suitable way to handle, while still allowing discussion. Just curious if other people might agree. (or not)
I'm far from being a big thinker in the paleo world but it seems to me there's a lot of discussion going on about higher carbs vs. lower carbs and all kinds of micromanaging of dietary minutia to affect this, that or the other hormone that... (more)
