For MTHFR, are the B12, folate found in liver or egg yolks already methylated? And does cooking damage them? Or are supplements needed? I started on methylfolate in the AM and methyl B12 at night, and have noticed some improvements in sleep... (more)

I just started taking Sam-e today, along with methylcobalamin. I am taking 200 mg, will soon take 400 mg. How long does it take to increase neurotransmitters serotonin and dopamine on this stuff?

I've seen a few questions and answers touch on this, but I'm curious: Has anyone been treated for hetero- or homozygous methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR, aka "Motherf***er) enzyme deficiency? If so, what symptoms were you having... (more)

Okay, so this is an old thread, but hopefully someone will get the notification and help a girl out! I hear all this talk about the MTHFR SNP that is found on 23andME, but where is it? I have been staring at my 23andME results and I can't seem to... (more)
