I make these. I really like them warm! http://paleoparents.com/2011/video-blog-ep4-breastfeeding-qa-and-grain-free-lactation-cookies/ The fenugreek makes me smell like maple syrup. :) (more)

I was just wondering if all the "paleo" muffins, breads, etc. that I see online (and make) are all that healthy... I know they have to be better than bread but it seems like eating chopped nuts, berries, shredded coconut, dried bananas, and dark... (more)

Grok would have eaten any damn thing that was put in front of him especially if it was a highly palatable, delicious treat. The thing is, he had no access or means to these things. How would he get his hands on a packet of almond... (more)

Depends on your recipe, but usually it can be omitted with both coconut flour and almond flour muffin recipes. The arrowroot just gives a more fluffy and cakey texture. As long as its only a small amount called for, say less than a couple... (more)

After the style of Guyenet, I've been making buckwheat muffins. Not strictly paleo, but I thought this crowd might be the right one to talk about it. My recipe: Soak 3 cups raw (organic) buckwheat groats for 24-36 hours in a large large volume... (more)

I've been eating buckwhat ployes my whole life. Traditionally, we've always made them as crepe/pancakes. Never would think of doing a muffin out of it as there just isn't any gluten for it to proof. (My hometown grows buckwheat and they mill it... (more)

It's been said that this recipe has been around the block. Does anyone know how to make this in an oven instead of a microwave? I would just try and see but I'm kind of a putz with this kind of stuff and I hate wasting food! Thanks! (more)

325 or 350 for about 20 minutes. On your first batch just watch closely starting at about 12 minutes then check every 2 minutes or so and see how it looks. Once you know how the recipe performs in your own oven you'll be set.

Greetings all - First post here as a PaleoHack-er. I went Paleo less than a month ago after "thinking" about it for a year. A bunch of things coalesced and the time was just right. I am very happy with the decision as leaning out it is full... (more)

I don't think you can mark a magic line where all things on either side are either 100% paleo or 100% not paleo. Our lives are not paleo because we don't live in the paleo. So what we have is a situation in which we attempt to replicate a... (more)
