You're probably right about keeping your protein to 170g or less.  If it were me, I would monitor blood ketones to find your protein tolerance level.  Start at 170g and work your way up until you're out of ketosis, or work your way down... (more)

Yes, it's water weight from lower cabs. I can lose 8 lbs in a day shedding the water weight going from high carb to zero to low carb. It slows down after that depending on how aggressive you are being on your diet.

Get yourself to a food bank, woman! No need to starve in the land of plenty. In the meantime, move slowly (e.g. walk) and keep well-hydrated. Eggs are a good post-fast meal, if you can tolerate them.

Can you do bio-identical hormones instead? Checkout Sabre Labs in San Diego. I don't know what your condition is but if you can the more natural route than perhaps the side-effects will be greatly minimized.

It looks like plenty of food. You might try crono-meter, fitday or loseit. One of them should give you a reasonable reading. It might be time to add in some weight lifting as well.

Congrats! You won't lose muscle if you are lifting regularly and eating a reasonable amount of protein, so no worries! It's easy for a woman to drop a lot of water weight right away, so I wouldn't be concerned.

Fat doesnt make you fat. Your body uses fat for energy, it doesnt store it. It stores excess carbs/sugars as body fat. And typically you should eat 1g/kg of lean body mass, but excess of that wont get stored as fat, and it wont make you "bulk up".... (more)
