Muscle Weakness

Hey guys, so I'm very new to Paleo and Cross fit. Actually I've only really been doing it for a week now. However, I've noticed that my calves are feeling very weak. I can't run as far as I used to because my legs get too tired. I know that I am on my first week of the diet as well as the first week of Crossfit, but I'm not having the same problem with any other muscles. I was wondering if it might have something to do with the diet. I'm a vegetarian and I'm doing Paleo vegetarian style. I'm eating at least six egg whites a day to keep up my protein, otherwise I am eating mostly vegetables and some fruits. Could the weakness in my legs be due to a lack of protein?

It could be the food. But it could just be crossfit. It is an excellent tool for ferreting out your weak spots! Crossfit can be pretty calf intensive, with all the jumping and lifting.

You could try those crazy compression socks. A lot of people swear by them.

I would also spend some time on mobility for your calves. Good place to start:

Are you eating the yolks with those whites? If not then it could be a biotin deficiency due to the avidin found in the whites. One of the symptoms of biotin deficiency is limb weakness.

Usually muscles are become weak by several reasons. I think you should try some new balanced diet plans and use Xtreme Power for getting strength. http://www.xtremepowerspain.com/ we all know that there are many kinds of supplements present in the market which can help you in being remaining strong. So dont eat to much rich quantity food. just use some supplement with quite suitable dosages.

Sounds like you're still adjusting to the new diet. Since you body used simple carbs to produce energy for the muscles it now has to learn to get it out of fat and stuff. But that is just a humble theory of someone how still figuring all this out himself.
