It's summer time and when I hear that annoying ice cream truck roll through the neighborhood to sell neolithic toxins to the poor ignorant children sometimes I just want to throw a rock at it. Anyone else feel similar?

Sometimes I eat neolithic junk (I don't like most neolithic/processed foods, so usually it's ice cream...I have to like it to eat it) that I KNOW isn't good for me but I tell myself it's not that bad here and there. I know it's not the end of the... (more)

There are packaged foods you can get that aren't advertised as paleo that are cleaner than that. That just strikes me as odd that they would take the time to wrap it up in the paleo wrapping and have the ingredients list be paragraphs long

I purchased some Spectrum Butter Flavored Veg Shortening--it is really just Palm Oil and the natural flavoring is from Sunflower oil. Is this Primal OK ?

Spectrum butter flavored shortening is not hydrogenated, no trans fats, and is organic. It's great for many things, but wow, try it when baking cookies. Better than butter!!!
