My wife and I will be going on vacation next month and wanted to look slimmer. We researched, and decided we'd like to try Paleo for 30 days. We're about 9 days in and still in the "detox" phase. I seem to be taking longer to clean my body out... (more)

I had epic brain fog in the first week of paleo. I realized I was going too low carb, and have been making sure to have some startchy veg and/or fruit every day (sweet potato, winter squash, banana). That really helped with the brain fog. If... (more)

Cholesterol is only found in animals, not plants, so there is none in coconut. And dietary cholesterol does not raise cholesterol in the blood. Dietary cholesterol is actually very good to consume, especially for hormone function.

Hey KM, relax! Weight loss does not follow a steady straight line. If you could survive 30 days of paleo, try to imagine what you'll look like in 180 days. (Hint: skinnier) Note that water weight fluctuations can be substantial. Also, if you... (more)

Just starting Paleo. How many times a day do you typically eat? I am used to eating 6 times a day, 3 meals and 3 snacks. I am not sure about eating high fat 6 times a day. Help please!

Eat when you are hungry. Eat as much as you want. I used to eat the way you describe. Measuring and counting. LOL Now, I eat twice a day, as much as I want. Your body will adjust when you get off the carb merry-go-round.
