My suggestion: Check your thyroid health, proper thyroid hormone levels help govern LDL receptors and then are needed for LDL turnover. If you have poor thyroid hormone levels your LDLs may not be getting "used" well, ie the LDLs (even fluffy... (more)

Had an NMR; some results excellent; some not. Made diet change to improve lousy #'s. How long to be on the changed diet before obtaining follow-up NMR. thanks, tony

Lipid profile looks good. Having low small LDL is really good -- small, dense LDL is highly atherogenic so the less of that the better. CRP is a marker of inflammation, so lots of things can make it go up -- sprained ankle, allergies, etc. My... (more)
