@thhq "beat" me to the part of the answer. :)imo, at your age, with your level of exercise and what you're eating, you're probably already at your 'easy 'equilibrium' size, shape & weight. That's pretty much as far as paleo will take you.. your... (more)

1000 calories a day sounds really low. Perhaps your body has gone into ketosis and is now holding onto fat? Try not counting calories, or if you do, increase your calories per day. You're probably not eating enough to fuel your body and it is... (more)

So you dropped 7 pounds in five weeks. How is that hitting a wall? That's a good and sustainable rate of weight loss. The first week was water weight and now you're body's catching up to that. Weight loss rarely follows an entirely straight line.... (more)

What has likely happened is that a large percentage of the 15 lbs that you initially lost was merely water weight, masking a lower weight loss of probably just a few pounds. It is also quite normal for weight to fluctuate by a few pounds. Chances... (more)

I've lost 100 pounds on Paleo. I would suggest no cheese, no juice, no coconut milk, no chocolate, and no fruit. I know that sounds drastic but you're eating a lot of carbs. I eat a cheat meal once a week but that's it. Try entering the food you... (more)

This is what so called "health and fitness experts" have been touting at the public for decades. Sounds like conventional wisdom to me. Is it a scientific fact? I personally think that dinner is the most important meal of the day.

On days when you are not really hungry but know you should have something. What should you focus on for the calories you will be getting? protein, fat, carbs? Also lets call is a mild walking day, no stressful workouts.

I'm very new to this diet but shouldn't your body be able to decide when it's time to eat and when it isn't? Why do you think you should force yourself to eat when you're not hungry?

Are you sure the 50,000iu dose was of D3, and not D2? The prescription version of vitamin D is often given in 50,000 iu pills, but is D2 rather than D3, so seems to be less effective for many folks. (The prescription version was approved before... (more)
