Try for raw nuts that you can soak/dehydrate/sprout at home. Soaking of the nuts helps in decreasing phytic acid present in the nuts, which helps in improving nutrient uptake and digestibility. I personally have experienced that soaking helps... (more)

Canola is the result of selective plant breeding, no genetic modification. There is however Roundup Ready Canola, but that would not be organic.

Nuts should be eaten in small quantities, like 5 or 10 at a time, and the huge gallon-sized drums of nuts fr Costco are very likely to encourage over-eating. I wouldn't buy nuts in bulk like that, just IMHO.
