Should we worry about taking melatonin supplements? in Lights Out the author doesn't recommend it because it supposedly shrinks the pineal gland and reduces our natural production. Is there any evidence for this?

Apparently, in many people, the pineal gland shrinks and produces less as we age. I don't see any long term studies on supplemental melatonin though. I would not be surprised if regular long term use caused the body to produce less melatonin on... (more)

Raw broccoli supresses thyroid function. Fruits are great. Dairy is a great sort of calcium and many nutrients. If you avoid consuming polyunsaturated fats, that would likely help with thyroid function and allow your body to use sugar better.... (more)

Ok this is my question if you hard boil eggs and refrigerate them at night and then leave them out all day would that make them safe to eat like a week or so later?

Other countries don't put eggs in the fridge, and they stay fresh for a while. But once cooked, all bets are off. They last only a few days, even boiled.

if i have a cold/flu, there is no way i am working out. i do have a chronic illness (UC) and am flaring, but i still workout because i can breathe fine and need to build my strength so i don't waste away.
