What are valid criticisms of the paleo diet? Scientific, economic, ethical... the gamut. And by paleo I mean the umbrella term that includes Weston A Price, Primal, Perfect Health Diet, GAPS etc etc.

I cook everything except fruits and my daily carrot salad. The less energy my digestion requires the more can be spend on other things and I believe people decline mentally when eating (almost) everything raw. But that's just me.

The problem with the paleo label isn't the label, it's folks insistence that X is paleo while Y is not. And then fighting over it. Paleo is a big umbrella.
