Living the way people did 40,000 years ago pre-farming. Everyone does it differently. Dr. Cordain probably described the diet the best. No grains, no dairy, no processed foods.

It took about a week for carb craving to ease up. But if you slowly lower carbs (I suggest one meal at a time) and remember to drink lots of salty broth plus eat potassium rich foods, you might avoid the symptoms altogether.

not the low carb flu -- that's typically the first week or two (unless you dramatically dropped carbs after a week). Sounds like a bad case of allergies.
