My absolute favorite is coconut oil- just started using that instead of olive oil and WOW- is my food amazing!!! I use it for omelets, and just about everything. What do you use most, and for what and why? Any good recipes, please do post! (more)
Just starting Paleo. How many times a day do you typically eat? I am used to eating 6 times a day, 3 meals and 3 snacks. I am not sure about eating high fat 6 times a day. Help please!
Eat when you are hungry. Eat as much as you want. I used to eat the way you describe. Measuring and counting. LOL Now, I eat twice a day, as much as I want. Your body will adjust when you get off the carb merry-go-round.

I've just started the paleodiet a few weeks ago. How do you shop in order to not get bored from the same food items? I've already run into a rut with the same regiment of 5-6 meals/snacks a day. Any suggestions?
Yes they are. Where it becomes un-paleo is when you eat only salad, then you're in vegetarian land. I never eat sprouts like alfalfa sprouts though and they tend to be higher in lectins and phytates because they just came out of their legume state. (more)

It took about a week for carb craving to ease up. But if you slowly lower carbs (I suggest one meal at a time) and remember to drink lots of salty broth plus eat potassium rich foods, you might avoid the symptoms altogether.
