Did paleo man eat the blood of his prey? If not, why not? If so, are there benefits from consuming blood that we're missing out on?

I've just ordered some venison from Broken Arrow Ranch. I read about them in a recent answer to a sourcing question, and now I'm looking for a source for pheasant. Does anyone know of a source and would pheasant be considered paleo?

Not sure how to find them but if can (find them) Wild Scottish Pheasant is something to get very excited about. Much of the pheasant that you will find in the US is farmed, the flesh is very white and lacks much real flavor. W.S.P on the other... (more)
