I have always just substituted it 1 for 1. If it is drier for you, I'd just add more until the consistency is right. May I ask where you're getting these recipes and what flours you're using?

I eat spinach nearly every morning, though it probably wouldn't work in the oven as you described. I just toss it in a steamer basket and it's done in a few short minutes! Clean up is a breeze.

surprised no one mentioned it, but bone broth freezes well. I make it 5 gallons at a time. so do chili type dishes (anything ground meat), and meat stews.
