I've been letter-perfect for 2 months and I personally have no observable side effects from this particular treat unlike so many baked goods and chips, etc.
I don't feel guilty and I consider it a well-earned reward.

I had a planned deviation. I planned to enjoy some peanut butter and I did! The world did not spin off its axis and now I'm right back to eating clean.
I may or may not have enjoyed some dim sum followed by a bowl of Turkey Hill all natural vanilla bean ice cream today.. And some vegetable oil laden foods are on tomorrow's menu.. But since I'm eating lots of green vegetables and exercising and drinking tons of tea/water, I feel like two days shouldn't be too much of a setback.. I hope. Ugh.

I had some delicious fajitas today. But I don't consider it much of a cheat, it was freaking delicious though, omfg.
I had a couple lebanese shwarma wraps over the weekend, the unleavened bread they use for the wrap obviously isn't paleo & the falafel could be made from legumes mixed with grains, the fries were probly done in veg oil aswell. Oh well it tasted damn great, but my gut definitely felt heavier the next day
Last night was the real beast, banoffee cookie dough from pizza hut! Now that is just bad in so many ways
I basically eat paleo 5-6 days a week and on the weekends pretty much anything goes, although i am beginning to forgo certain things like swapping beer for red wine, super sugary stuff for natural sugar like pineapple & mango, as then i still get my fix but then feel much healthier after
I think i actually prefer a pineapple to a bag of cookies or chocolate bars, it actually tastes better & feels good to eat, but old habits die hard
I don't even consider small amounts of anything but gluten cheating for me. Small could be one bad day relative to weeks of good days or a little bad for days in a row.
When I do cheat, it's going to be a cheese pizza from a specific parlor, where they toast the cheese so perfectly. I'd usually get pepperoni, but I wouldn't interfere with any of that cheese-toasting they do.
Sometimes when I go out with friends to a nice restaurant I eat only the "good things" from the main course but I also might have a desert like cheese cake or ice cream afterwards. I don't see it as a cheat, but more like enjoying things i like (from time to time!).
well i cook in an italian restaurant so i cant exactly tell my chef that i have to stop eating pasta because i dont think its healthy haha
