Paleo (more primal) testosterone/rage...

So, I'm 44 and have been eating primal for about a year. I only eat good dairy including drinking a bit of raw milk. Lately, the last month or so I've been feeling really great; really strong but I've also become a real a-hole to my friends and family. I'm just really intense and quick to anger. I'm wondering if my testosterone is up because I'm also putting on a lot of muscle quickly and my voice is deepening (kind of rare @ 44); I'm also getting a little acne. I'll probably go to the doc and have my levels checked but wondering if anyone has seen this and what to do. I don't want to lose my strength and focus but I have to fight really hard not to be a d*** to people. One person said to drink soy milk ... yeah, really don't want to go down that route.

You might have a hormone imbalance but I would not say that its high T. It might be high E relative to your free T. Highly doubt your T levels are off the chart from eating Paleo but your E levels might be especially if your not eating enough carbs or if its just from being older. I have higher T now in my 30's than I did in my 20's and I am much more calm today than ever before.

I agree with Bill, estrogen is going to be more tightly correlated with mood swings and rage than testosterone from the studies I've seen. Yes I said studies and not just what the media has shoved down peoples' throats.

It might not even be physiological/diet related.
