I'm tired of my doctor telling me I need to stop eating steak and start eating whole grains. Any recs? I live in Bayside, Queens, New York.

Consider a Naturopathic doctor (ND) over a regular MD for non surgical treatments and care.

My Chiropractor, Dr. Bourgaize - Fisher heights Chiropractic is Paleo.. there's also Dr. Kelly Norman of Back in Balance Chiropractic and the Wellness Group in kanata.. don't know of any others

Have you gone to the Paleo Physician Network website, http://paleophysiciansnetwork.com/ to see if there may be a doctor near you that encourages Paleo?

Usually those types of numbers are for people with known heart disease/previous heart attacks etc. Your LDL should be less than 130 and your cholesterol under 200 - but I don't buy that number. If your HDL etc are fine then I don't see a... (more)

Your doc was right, I think.. Your HDL is pretty low and your LDL is pretty high.

Really would like to find someone who isnt the typical Doctor in my area. They all want to give you medications and run a billion tests! And I'm healthy!

The list might be short if they won't put anyone on the show who has been openly critical of Dr. Oz. Like it or not, Dr. Oz is quite popular and influential. Who would you like to see on the show? And, why? (or is that a different question?) (more)

De Vany, Wolf, an Sisson. They should show up with their latest blood tests and take off their shirts and have a pose-down, and challenge The Wizard of Oz to do the same. Then ask Oz to explain scientifically what he thinks is wrong with the diet. (more)

I have found a fantastic doctor in Adelaide - Dr Baratosy http://www.alternatedoc.com.au/ He is all about the paleo diet. He does have a 6 week waiting list though :( (more)
