I'd argue the benefits of tocotriene vitamin E probably outweighs inhibition towards HMG-CoA reductase. Balance is key, whenever you reduce variety in diet, you're going to run into issues like this. Unless you're using virgin red palm oil... (more)

Yep, big difference. And usually big smoke is a sign that the oil is unrefined. African dishes with palm oil are all crockpot like stews, too. At any rate high heat frying is, in my opinion, not paleo. Smoked oil has a lot of toxins. Frankly, good... (more)

Looks good in theory, with the high vit A precursors that will work better with the fat(than a carrot) and vit E which is found to be decreased in sebum of acne sufferers. Anything im missing?
