Coconut oil and palm oil are not 100% saturated (palm oil definitely isn't). Coconut oil has about 3% unsaturated fats. Palm oil is like 40% monounsaturated and 10% polyunsaturated, if I remember correctly. Those are the fats being hydrogenated.... (more)

Virgin red palm oil is great for its vitamin E content. Do choose African source over Asian source, as Asian sourced palm oil is pretty bad from an environmental standpoint. It does have a unique flavor that you may or may not like.

Looks good in theory, with the high vit A precursors that will work better with the fat(than a carrot) and vit E which is found to be decreased in sebum of acne sufferers. Anything im missing?
