Ideally i would say dont drink as drinking (beer especially) has been shown to elevate estrogen levels and lower testosterone levels. Seems like you've answered your own question too since the effect of drinking just 2 makes you feel crappy... (more)

Eat more starchy carbs, ditch the nut butter and nuts or eat very minimally and make sure you get adequate calories. These tips should help. Buttering up your meat is a good way to increase cals.
