Just wanted to know is there a difference between retinol from dairy and liver. Ray peat makes a valid point that dairy increases metabolism therefore burns through vitamin A quicker but isn't the Retinol the same in both of the foods? My... (more)

Vitamin A in dairy isn't necessarily retinol.

Are you sure it's KP? If they are pus-filled or liquidy, they could be something else too. Some celiac's dermatitis herpetiformis can flare from sun exposure and things other than just gluten.

Hi guys i have Keratosis Pilaris on my upper thighs both legs, no where else. They are usually red and they never leave but when they do, they scar :( anyone know why this happens? Any tips? Thanks

Cod liver oil has been helping me with mine a bit. Not a panacea, but better.

I know vitamin D and K2 can get in through the skin, so it ought to have at least a partially good effect. I don't know about A. You might go check with the Peatarians on this one. In order for it to absorb well, it needs to be put on areas... (more)
