Hi all, I'm not 100 percent paleo probably not close but I try. I'm currently 7 months postpartum and breastfeeding. I started doing "no poo" around May? And than I had about 2-3 weeks where I went back to an organic non-toxic shampoo/conditioner.... (more)

I've found that mixing 2 Tbsp of apple cider vinegar into a glass of water and drinking that before every meal helps my stomach break down my food better and eliminates a lot of the bulge in that area. I'm not sure if it would help since yours... (more)

You will do better if you take the emphasis off of weight loss and focus on replenishing your nutrients so that you hormones balance out. Balanced hormones=easy weight loss. Having a baby has left you even more depleted than your low fat diet... (more)

If your Vitamin D is deficient, your hormones will be out of balance & make fat loss difficult. I've seen this in several of the moms I work with.

I suggest looking into cloth diapers, babywesaring (we like the Beco Gemini), making baby food, co-sleeping and non-grain based ways to increase milk supply. Also, find a very pro-breastfeeding doctor. Happy to share our war stories! (more)
