I am a 20 year old 6'1" male, and I recently gained ~30lb of fat as a side effect from an unsuccessful trial of medication for my hormone issues. I'm now at about 200lb, and my healthy bodyweight was always around 170-180lb. I'm currently... (more)

I've been getting 2g/kg protein/bodyweight on my Leangains program. To lose fat, I've had to dip down at or below 2000/1400 cal training/rest. I'm being told to spare muscle I should obey the Leangains advice of 2.5-3.0g/kg protein... (more)

If you're doing LeanGains by the book that's just how it is. High fat in the LeanGains world is like 50 or 60 grams. And it certainly will never make it to half your calories for the day under Martins design. That's just the nature of the beast.... (more)

I don't avoid all fat. It makes the results a wee bit slower, but makes the PSMF more sustainable. I just can't hack chicken breasts! For example, I will eat burgers(drained), poached eggs, poached chicken thighs, liver pat??, low sugar... (more)

I'm a foodie. PSMFs are wonderfully effective. I am 5'9" tall. The 3 are not related. A PSMF is certainly not a 'foodie' diet, even if 'foodies' can do it. After many failed PSMF diets I can tell you my favorite PSMF meal was: Nonfat cheese... (more)
