Hi y'all:
I have genital lichen sclerosus and severe migraines. In October, I started a keto diet for my migraines. My migraines didn't get better, but my lichen symptoms were stopped cold, and I hadn't had a flare up in almost 4 months (the longest I have ever gone).
My migraines, on the other hand, got worse. After a 7 day status migraine that I was hospitalized for, I ramped up my keto diet. A couple of weeks ago, I began to include a lot more MCT oil and coconut oil and I also started 18 hour intermittent fasting daily to drive my ketosis deeper.
My migranes have improved since doing this (less severe, less frequent), but my lichen symptoms have come back full force.
I'm really perplexed as to why and what to do. I don't want to back off of what is clearly helping my migraines, but the lichen stuff isn't any picnic, either.
Any ideas, o wise ones?
