I'm now a men's 30x30 pants and small shirt. That's down from 36x30 pants and large shirt. I'm 5'7"/170cm and 152lbs/69kg.
Unless I want to spend some serious money, and I don't, it's nigh impossible to find decent clothing that fits me. If I can even find smaller sizes -- and a "small" shirt can be too tight or way too large -- the styles are either grandpa or teenage boy. Even in the same style, different fabrics are different sizes, e.g. Levis 501s 30x30 in black-blue fabric fit great but the same size 501 in indigo blue do not, too tight. It's infuriating. I've even had to buy boys size 18 or 20 in shirts and the fashion isn't really my taste. I spent hours today at the outlet/remainder stores and only found two pairs of pants and one shirts, at least at prices I was willing to pay. The stuff at the Calvin Klein store fit well but it's so overpriced and even there a small in one style fit completely different from a small in another style. This one place I went had NO small size in anything, though I did find a great pair of winter-weight "Kühl" pants 30x30 that are, well, flattering :)
The goal was winter clothing e.g. coats and flannel shirts but I only found one shirt that wasn't a freaking tent and the coats are absurd. I have to replace all my winter gear because it's all way too big now. I guess I'll check out Costco next, or maybe LL Bean. Ugh.
There's no shortage of clothes for fatties. How about a "short, skinny, angry" shop? I know, I'll call it Kneebiters!
I know, not a question, but all my friends are like "STFU, I wish I had your problem" so I really have no other place to vent, thanks for listening! If anyone has suggestions for US stores that aren't Abercrombie or other peddlers to teens etc I'd be appreciative.
