I'm moving down to Atlanta, GA in a matter of months with my fiancee and I'd like to get into a box sooner than later. I know there are a lot of them down there, but does any one have strong feelings about one box in particular? If so, why?
On the contrary, has anyone had a particularly bad experience with a box in Atl? Thanks for the help ahead of time!
I have heard both good and bad things about CF BTB - they may be a little short on the Oly lifts coaching side.
Crossfit Decatur is awesome. Super expensive, but awesome. Crossfit Atlanta and Crossfit North Atlanta are probably the best, but may a bit further from you.
I've got a garage gym right around the corner from Emory where I have been training people. I've got my level 1 certification and am building a cool little community. Of course, we'd love to have an out of towner!
If you're experienced, I'd suggest shooting an email to the owners and ask if you can come check it out. They will probably let you, and you can figure out where you fit the best.

I met the guy who ran this place with his gf/fiancé? http://www.crossfiteastdecatur.com/ through an old friend. We exchanged numbers and he seemed very competent/pleasant. Another pro is that this place is across the street practically from North Dekalb Farmers Market, which is the best farmers market in Atlanta easily and probably all of Georgia. Even if you don't decide to go to this place, make sure to get familiar with North Dekalb Farmers Market since you're moving to to Atlanta. It blows any trader joes, whole foods etc out of the water.
Ask to look at past programming for several weeks or a month at the gyms you are looking at. See if it makes sense or just random work outs. I would only join a gym that regularly programs separate strength training (2-3 times per week) and intelligently mixes WOD's with them.
Look at online Crossit program's like Crossfit Endurance or Crossfit Football to see what intelligent programming looks like.
Other than that, pick a gym close to home or work so you will actually go. :)
