I'm dairy free, nut free, almost fruit free paleo. I'm in a situation where I have to eat out tonight and the place is Buffalo Wild wings. Not ideal but I have to make due. I'll get to eat the next day so if I don't end up eating that much its not a big deal but I'm with people that aren't tolerable, they know I'm "allergic" to dairy though. I'd rather not make a scene about what i'm eating.
I'm going to either go with traditional wings or non-glazed ribs. The problem is I hate eating absolute crap and i've heard the ribs are originally just pre-cooked/frozen. Unfortunately the traditional wings aren't a great option either. Plain chicken wings but they're still fried (not breaded or sauced option). Salad? I hate making all sorts of special requests for what to not put on. Bleh.

Trust me, if this was avoidable I would but it is the current situation. I'm fine with cheat meals but my version of cheat is usually paleo or primal because afterwards I feel awful. I just want something that I'll feel okay with afterwards.
Eat before you go so you are less likely to say "f-it, I'm gonna eat whatever".
Just get 5 of their unbreaded, unglazed wings and a dry side salad (this is normally what I do at "wing" places, of which my co-workers seem to have an unhealthy addiction to).
I cannot believe that we are at a point as a paleo/primal culture where we are essentially neurotic about going out for a meal with a group of people and will actually post on the internet about how to handle it. Seriously?
Honestly, if you don't want to eat then don't. If people are offended by that, it's THEIR problem to deal with, NOT yours. Stand your ground and just tell them you just came out for the company. For God sake, people, why is this such a big deal?
I CURRENTLY work at Buffalo Wild Wings. I have for nearly a decade. The oil used in the fryers at my location is beef tallow. There is a small amount of trans fat listed. I personally take my lunches, but if I'm going to kick my heels up I get wings with Desert Heat dry seasoning and ask for Daytona style. They will still be fried, but put on the grill afterwards. If you get any other grilled chicken make sure you ask for desert heat instead of the normal grill seasoning(wheat). Also, any of the Asian sauces have wheat.
It seems to me that you have three options:
BW3's... one of my families favorite place for sure. Honestly.... I get a grilled chicken salad, no croutons, no cheese and have them double the chicken. I use lemon for dressing.
I tended bar there years ago.
I don't have a good answer for you though. The oil is soybean for the wings. I have had it once since going paleo and I noticed tummy upset. If you do get wings though just get them plain with some hot, medium or mild sauce on the side. Those sauces have the least ingredients.
The ribs are not horrible but they are fried in the same oil.
The salads are decent.
It's a tough one- BWW is one of the hardest places to avoid O6. Pretty much everything is fried. I think eating minimally is the way to go. Maybe take probiotics to help digestion?
Ahh BWW! They just opened one of these in my town a few months ago. I'm not very picky when I go out; I pretty much just avoid the obvious gluten and enjoy myself, but I have been to my local BWW 3 times and have yet to have a decent experience. I would bring some dressing from home and get a salad.
They will grill your wings if you ask, so perhaps some grilled wings with hot sauce could be a decent choice. The hot, Blazin', medium, parmesan garlic, spicy garlic, wild, and Thai curry sauces all have <2 grams of carbs per serving.
