I'm interested in getting some ideas of what to do with fresh anchovies, as there's quite a few around at the moment.
I don't want to fry them (I avoid cooking with fat at high temperature). I'm looking for a recipe that gets them nicely cooked so I can eat them whole (bones and all) and as delicious as possible! My starting idea is to just grill them in the oven till they look ready, then douse in lemon juice and butter. Anything else I can do?
(they're quite small, by the way - about 5-6cm long and 1-2cm wide)
