Hi, I'm new to paleo and was wondering if I could get a suggestion on which lunch meal would be the best? I'm terrible at packing lunches but there is a fantastic salad restaurant near my work I can walk to.

Their site is: http://marketsixtyfive.com/#signatures

I'm thinking either The Club or The Pacific Rim would be best but I'm not sure on the dressings. Thoughts or suggestions?

I usually carry my own EVOO and vinegar of choice so I can relax and not worry about dressings. Sometimes I just take the EVOO since vinegar type isn't so dicey. – Nance Mar 2 2012 at 2:37
Thanks! It seems bringing my dressing will be the best choice. I might just bring a bottle and keep it in my drawer :P – zoite Mar 2 2012 at 2:49

Just with a quick glance, they look good and I'm jealous that you're within walking distance! The Capitol Apple is probably the "least paleo," but certainly not a horrible choice- oh wait, the salad with the orzo is the one to skip. The Pacific Rim without edamame and chickpeas could be good. I like the idea of bringing a small container of your own vinaigrette, just so you know what's in it. Getting an extra order of protein could be a good move too, depending on the serving size.

Thanks for the answer, I've decided to bring my own as both you and Nance suggested. I'm sure I can get the edamame removed if I ask. The serving sizes are huge so there should be plenty of protein. – zoite Mar 2 2012 at 2:50

The club without the corn looks good.

I'd be tempted to create my own with lots of meat and seafood, avocado and veg. I'd go without a dressing, but perhaps a squeeze of lemon, especially if you have seafood, might work well?
