Hello, paleohacks world! After many months lurking in the background, here I am with my first post.
Male, 30 years old. I have been increasingly Paleo over the last 8 months. January was a "Whole 30" month. I wanted to see how things went so I got the lipid panel/VAP/more done Feb 15. Results are below. (note there was a small weekend of beers and eating sub-par foods on Feb 1st if that is important)
I am curious about the high LDL and total cholesterol. I know TC isnt that good of a marker in itself (right?) but what about LDL?
Ive lost weight, gotten stronger but now I need some help to defeat the "youre cholesterol is going to be horrible on that paleo diet" argument. I want to keep turning friends to the paleo darkside!
Lift weights 1-2 times a week, play sports 1-2 times/week. I take fish oil and CLO and vitamin D3 and Magnesium at night. Sleep is 7-8hrs. Weight 150.0 lbs BP: 108/65 BMI: 22.8 Body Fat %: 12.0
If what I was eating in January was important here was my log: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhergB_btuhPdEN4eFd6Z2xHUmgwMUJLUXFrbzdFX3c#gid=0
The results (sorry for the quality):

Should I be worried? Whats the LDL deal? Anything else that I am missing besides the LDL in the results?
