As someone else mentioned, up your fat/protein and you should be on your way to weight loss. Oh ya, ditch nuts and sweet potatoes/starches if you want to lose weight (add them later if you choose).
I'm a big guy and have lost 25 lbs in 6 weeks (hardly any to no exercise either). Its not water weight either, trust me. Still steadily losing and not IF'ing either. Breakfast consists of coffee with coconut oil and a couple egg muffins (with some type of hormone/MSG free meat). Lunch is usually salad or other veggie and meat (various types). Dinner is a veggie/meat based meal (all kinds of things you can make). At least 80 to 100+ oz of water a day too.
I feel great (rarely hungry and no carb/sugar cravings). Another 10 lbs and I plan to start a light weight training routine a couple times a week with a couple moderate cardio days mixed in between (I'll really shred the weight then).
*On a side note, if you don't have access to or cannot get/afford free range eggs, grass fed beef, etc, don't freak. Hard core Paleo folks are all over this and it kills me. Get what you can afford. Just get somewhat leaner cuts of meat (or trim large excessive amounts off grain fed beef) and you'll be fine. Make sure to supplement with a quality Omega 3 supplement if eating this way (gets your Omega 3/6 ratio in check that way). All my bloodwork looks great and zero blood pressure issues to boot ; )
