If you could move to an unspoiled region with plenty of local Paleo food would you choose to live on a tropical island , Alaska, Antarctica or somewhere else and why? Would it be for prolonged life, enriched quality of life or another reason?

I would definitely head to a tropical island. I just don't like cold weather, but I do like warm breezes and swimming in salt water. Enriched quality of life and a slower, more relaxed pace would be my goal. |

I'm moving to Iceland. Amazing food quality, low density population, low levels of pollution, sexy bearded viking mens... Plus, it's pretty much the most beautiful place on earth. Admit it. Shove your tropical islands, imo - They've got bugs there. F**k a mosquito. |

Tropical island, winter in total darkness is just way too hard for me mentally. |

I second Jess's resposne. Iceland sounds ideal. Except for the "viking men" all of her factors are spot on. Plus: access to beautiful serenue winter beauty & the northern lights. Can't beat those. |

I'll pick Alaska out of your 3, I live in a "Tropical" area and I want out -- and plan to! ;) Enriched quality of life, for me. |

I grew up in S.E.Alaska, and it is Paleo nirvana. Mountain Goat, Salmon, Halibut, Clams, Deer, Wild Berries, Tons of edible plants and mushrooms, long growing seasons.. the list goes on. Many people easily live off the land with no need for store bought food of any kind. The draw back is the cold and dark winter. A good mate and/or book is a must. |
