I have severe stomach pain two hours after eating. My recent food history is: I removed refined sugar from my diet two months ago. I then bought a breadmaker and flour mill and have since been making my own whole wheat bread. (love it)
Then I introduced alot of fruits and veggies into my diet and reduced some fatty foods as well. Up until 3 weeks ago, things were great. I felt great, no sugar withdrawals and lots of energy, UNTIL...... BAM..... Major stomach aches.
I played with my diet for awhile and it seems, even now, that a little fat in my food causes the problem. If I only eat fruits, veggies and soaked whole grain rice, everything is fine.
I finally broke down and went to the doctor and tests were conducted. I thought maybe I had gallstones or gallbladder/liver problems, but it seems that theses organs are fine. I thought maybe that I am gluten intolerant or have celiac disease - I am waiting on results for this. Maybe I have been always gluten intolerant but only to a minor degree BUT now that I make my own bread, I add extra gluten to the bread making process to help the bread rise. (maybe the extra gluten brought the gluten disease to the forefront. Not sure
Anyway, while I wait on more results, I broke down and picked up digestive enzymes and "anti-gas" pills. As long as I don't over eat, these pills almost totally stops the pain. Please.... is there someone out there who can give some insight into my problem.
