It's time for me to find a new primary care physician. Does anyone know of a paleo-friendly one in the DC / Silver Spring, MD area?

I've been searching for a paleo-friendly doctor in the DC area as well - there aren't any actual primary care doctors listed on the primal docs site (just a chiropractor) and I couldn't find any on another paleo doc finder site either. :\ |

I don't know specifically paleo-friendly he is, but my doctor operates with his wife out of their own practice in Fairfax, VA ( http://fairfaxmd.com/ ). He is very open-minded, friendly and supportive (his wife seems the same way). I haven't seen him since starting paleo (because I haven't been getting sick!) but he has always been very non-judgmental and if you lay out the facts for him (including the personal health benefits you've gained from paleo) then I'd be very surprised if he wasn't supportive, or at least optimistically curious. I'd probably see if anyone else can name someone who definitely is paleo-friendly, but otherwise I absolutely recommend him. |
