Which seaweed snack do you eat and why? How much do you eat to get enough iodine?

I didn't particularly care for the SeaSnax flavor I tried (chipotle). I'm sticking with dulse. It's higher in iodine than the seaweed SeaSnax is made from (nori/porphyra) and it's easy to add to salad or soup. According to the nutrition info on the Maine Sea Vegetables bag, 1T of dulse has ~150% of the DV for iodine. |

After some research, I am going to try SeaSnax since they seem to be the only one not fried in canola oil. They use olive oil & are Whole9-approved |

My favorite is to get the bulk nori sheets, tear them in 1/4 size squares, then eat each one with some salt and olive oil (or butter) slathered on. |

I love wakame salad with lots of toasted sesame seeds. I eat it because it's delicious, but it also has more iodine gram for gram than iodized salt. Mostly, though? It's yummy, and the sushi restaurant near me will make it without soy sauce or sugar if I ask. |
