Hi there. 5'1" female, 107lbs here.
I've been low-carb/gluten-free for more than 2 years and I recently discovered paleo and decided to go on a strict paleo diet a few days ago. I cut out rice, fruits, and nuts so I could lose weight. I've been eating more eggs, animal fats in the form of lamb fat, and am eating my usual veggies that I love. Last night I made a soup with lamb ribs and some vegetables and took out the lamb ribs and baked them in the oven. There were pieces of fat left over in the soup which I ate.
A couple hours later before bed my stomach hurt SO much. I rushed to the bathroom to throw up but nothing because it was hours earlier and I had taken a walk already. I forced myself to sleep after about half an hour but then I woke up at least 2 more times in the middle of the night but no throwing up. It's now the morning and I still feel crappy :( The thought of anything fatty is making me cringe right now.
Could anyone give me a possible explanation? I want to also add that since I've been strict paleo, I've lost a lot of my appetite which is great so I'm eating less too.
