Ever since I heard a podcast with Kurt Harris I've experimented with more starches (namely rice - although i'm now very fond of plantains as well). I started to eat puffed rice with heavy cream - which is amazingly tasty. But I tend to have problems with dairy, so I am looking for substitutes.
I've tried almond milk - which is alright tasting. But then I tried hazelnut milk, and I have to say it's got a great flavor, and it's unsweetened too.
Have you tried hazelnut milk? What are your thoughts?
